Eh...well I have been to some other peoples pages tonight and realized that some people actually find it kind of interesting to know about the meaning of other peoples' usernames. So I guess I decided that I would write a little about my own username.

Most people I think have kinda guessed some of the meaning of my username.

Spiky-Valentine

It's mostly from Cowboy Bebop which was one of my favorite animes at the time. I was doing a play off of my favorite characters from the series: Spike Spiegel and Faye Valentine. Thus there became Spike Valentine

But that's not the only reason. I don't really like things that have no meaning so I had to have some kind of deeper underlying idea for the name too. So I looked at Valentine first. I've always loved that word for some reason. Hate the holiday with a passion...which if you've looked through my entire gallery you've probably noticed. I have no Valentine's Day themed art posted in my gallery. Plenty of couple picks, but no Valentine themed ones(That I remember anyway...). I just hate the holiday.

So I came up with the idea of the spiky-valentine. Since everyone is always giving gifts and things on this holiday the idea of someone getting something that symbolized pain(spikes/thorns) on a day of love that was just sadistic enough to appeal to me I guess.

Love cannot be experienced without pain after all.

So then there was the spiky-valentine.

Anyway...I was a pretty strange kid back then and I had a real downer look on love and anything to do with it so it just appealed to me at the time. I still have a downer look on love, but I'm not as depressed about it now. I stay to busy with other things to allow myself to have a real life that I can be depressed over...lol.

Well, now that we all now I am crazy I guess I'll shut up now.
